Forum on Bahraini Women in Judicial and Legal Fields to Be Held Under Patronage of HRH Princess Sabeeka

Manama: Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), the Public Prosecution, in cooperation with various national institutions, will host a forum titled "Bahraini Women in the Judicial and Legal Fields: Excellence, Creativity, and Innovation."

According to Bahrain News Agency, the event is part of the national celebrations for Bahraini Women's Day, observed annually on December 1. It underscores the progress of Bahraini women in the judicial and legal professions, reflecting the royal confidence in their role in decision-making and advancing a modern justice system based on the rule of law.

The forum is a collaborative effort by the Public Prosecution, SCW, Supreme Judicial Council, Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, University of Bahrain, and the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute. It aims to support the advancement of Bahraini women in legal sectors, in line with the Government Action Plan (2023 - 2026), while enhancing national legal identity and institutional efficiency.

This initiative highlights Bahrain's commitment to empowering women and promoting their influence in development sectors, particularly in justice and law. The forum will spotlight women's achievements in the legal field, promote justice and human rights, and support digital transformation in the justice system.

Participants will include judges, prosecutors, representatives from judicial, legal, academic institutions, and civil society organisations. The forum will provide a platform to showcase the accomplishments of Bahraini women, inspire future generations, and reinforce their status as a model regionally and internationally. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26.
