The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, received in his office at the ministry today, the US embassy Chargé D’Affaires to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Margaret Nardi.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary for Political Affairs praised the historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA, noting that the relations between the two friendly countries have always been based on mutual respect and coordination.
He also affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to develop comprehensive cooperation with the USA in various fields to enhance strategic partnership between the two countries in order to achieve common aspirations. He commended the constructive American efforts in preserving security and stability in the region and the world.
The meeting shed light on a number of issues pertaining to bilateral cooperation regarding topics of common concern.
