Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, participated in the fifteenth ministerial meeting of the Global Governance Group (3G). The meeting was chaired by the Republic of Indonesia, and attended by (G20) countries. It was held at the headquarters of the Singapore Mission in New York, on the sidelines of the seventy-seventh session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, the participants praised the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the group, and the efforts made by the Italian Republic during its presidency of G20 in 2021, stressing the need to promote and intensify cooperation between the G20 and 3G in order to achieve sustainability and global development. The group also discussed a number of topics of common concern.
