Foreign Ministry Undersecretary discusses cooperation with US State Department

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met the Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Yael Lambert, and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Israel and Palestine, Hady Amr, on the occasion of his official visit to Washington.

 

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs affirmed keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to strengthen cooperation and partnership with the United States of America, in addition to discussing regional and international issues of common interests.

 

He pointed out the commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in line with the diplomatic vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to developing international partnership in order to bring peace and stability to the Middle East, and strengthen the historical gains of the Abraham Accords for all the peoples of the region.

 

For their part, Yael Lambert and Hady Amr praised the solid Bahraini-US relations and the progress they are witnessing, expressing their appreciation for the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Bahrain in promoting a culture of dialogue, tolerance and peaceful coexistence in the region and the world. They wished the kingdom and its people continued progress and prosperity.
