Manama: Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director-General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received Aliki Chatzara, Honourary Consul of the Hellenic Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain. During this meeting, the Director-General presented Chatzara with the consular commission, authorising her to assume her duties in this role.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting also reviewed existing areas of cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hellenic Republic. Discussions were held on ways to enhance and advance bilateral relations between the two countries. Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali extended his wishes for Aliki Chatzara's success in fulfilling her responsibilities as Honourary Consul.
