Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to intensify its efforts to facilitate the return of Bahraini citizens currently abroad through land border crossings, as part of its ongoing monitoring of regional developments and its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of citizens.
According to Bahrain News Agency, these efforts are being carried out in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and their counterparts in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, in addition to direct coordination with Bahrain’s embassies abroad. The embassies are closely following up on the conditions of Bahraini citizens in GCC countries and providing the necessary support to facilitate transit procedures through land border crossings and arrange their safe and smooth return to the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that it continues to monitor the situation of Bahraini citizens abroad around the clock through coordination and communication with the Kingdom’s diplomatic missions overseas, while providing the necessary support and facilities for citizens wishing to return. The ministry noted that these efforts reflect the Kingdom’s readiness and swift response to developments, as well as its continued commitment to caring for its citizens and ensuring their wellbeing wherever they may be.
