Foreign Ministers of Bahrain and Pakistan Discuss Diplomatic Collaboration


Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a telephone conversation with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan. The discussion revolved around enhancing diplomatic coordination and consultation between the two nations, particularly in the context of their roles within the United Nations Security Council. Both countries are actively involved in deliberating ongoing international issues currently under the Council’s consideration.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the dialogue also touched upon the enduring historical relations between Bahrain and Pakistan. Efforts to further develop and enhance these ties across various sectors were emphasized. The conversation also included a review of current regional developments, notably the Iranian missile attacks targeting Bahrain and Gulf Cooperation Council states. These attacks have caused further loss of life and property, prompting an exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
