Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone call today with Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The two ministers reviewed the close fraternal relations between Bahrain and Egypt and the continued growth of bilateral cooperation across various fields in support of the shared interests of both countries. According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Bahrain, the ministers discussed the latest regional developments and efforts to de-escalate tensions and resolve crises through dialogue and diplomatic means. The call further addressed the importance of safeguarding freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and international waterways, preserving regional security and stability, and enhancing Arab coordination and consultation to advance joint Arab cooperation.
