Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Asmaa Shalabi, the newly appointed Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to Bahrain, where she presented her credentials. The minister congratulated Shalabi on her appointment and emphasized Bahrain's commitment to continued cooperation with the UN and its specialized agencies. He commended the significant efforts and initiatives of the UNDP in achieving its objectives and wished her success in performing her duties. According to Bahrain News Agency, Shalabi expressed her appreciation to the minister for meeting her and emphasized her commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation to achieve shared developmental goals and interests. The meeting was attended by Hatem Abdulhamid Hatem, Chief of Organisations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
