Foreign Minister Receives Calls from Arab and International Counterparts

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received telephone calls from Arab and international counterparts following the Iranian missile attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Foreign Ministers affirmed their support and solidarity with the Kingdom.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zayani received calls from a range of leaders and officials, including His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar; and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates. Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, also expressed their support.

Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt; Dr. Asaad Hassan Al Shaibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic; Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister of Italy and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic; and Jean No«l Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, were among those who reached out to convey their solidarity with Bahrain.

Additionally, Dr. Constantinos Kombos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus; Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission; and Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, extended their support to the Kingdom.

The Foreign Minister expressed appreciation and gratitude to the ministers for their sincere sentiments and solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing their countries security, stability, and peace.
