Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Henning Georg Simon, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting underscored the strong diplomatic relationship between the two nations. According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions between Dr. Al Zayani and Ambassador Simon focused on reinforcing bilateral cooperation in various fields to support shared interests. Both parties reviewed their longstanding relationship and exchanged views on regional developments. They also explored ongoing efforts to promote regional and international peace and security, while addressing other issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Shaikha Al Anoud bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Acting Chief of the European Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighting the importance of the European Affairs Sector in the diplomatic engagement.
