Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a telephone call from Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Safadi expressed Jordan's solidarity with Bahrain and condemned the recent Iranian attacks targeting civilian sites and infrastructure in Bahrain. He affirmed Jordan's support for all measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
Dr. Al Zayani expressed his appreciation for Minister Safadi's fraternal support, commending Jordan's steadfast commitment to promoting security and stability across the region.
The two ministers also reviewed the strong relations between Bahrain and Jordan and discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across various fields in support of the shared interests of the two countries and their people. They also exchanged views on regional developments, underscoring the importance of intensifying efforts to de-escalate tensions, promote security and stability, safeguard freedom of navigation, and address issues of mutual interest.
