Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Doug Burgum, Secretary of the Interior of the United States, during Burgum's visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain for the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US, highlighting their cooperation within the framework of bilateral agreements such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA). The discussions underscored the importance of these agreements in promoting mutual interests.
The dialogue also touched on regional issues and security challenges. Both parties explored ways to enhance cooperation and coordination to ensure regional security, stability, and prosperity.
