Bahrain and Tajikistan Advance Bilateral Relations in Second Political Consultation

Manama: The second round of political consultations between Bahrain and Tajikistan took place today, co-chaired by Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Farrukh Sharifzoda, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation across political, economic, and cultural domains. Both parties also addressed regional and international developments, aiming for coordination on issues of mutual interest to support global peace and security.

The meeting was also attended by Muneera Nofal Al Doseri, Chief of the Asian and Pacific Affairs Sector at Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
