Rabat: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a meeting in Rabat with Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of Morocco, during his visit to Morocco to participate in the Human Rights Council meeting hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco. According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed the historic ties between Bahrain and Morocco, highlighting their growing cooperation across various domains. Discussions centred on advancing collaboration, expanding coordination in political matters, and strengthening joint efforts in international forums. Both sides addressed regional developments and their implications for regional security and stability, including the ongoing conflict in Gaza and Lebanon. They discussed efforts to achieve a ceasefire, de-escalate tensions, and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians. Khalid bin Salman Al Musallam, Bahrain's Ambassador to Morocco, and senior officials from the Moroccan Min istry of Foreign Affairs were present.
