Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Okai Asako, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Both sides reviewed the growing partnership between Bahrain and Japan, within the framework of their shared commitment to enhance bilateral cooperation in various domains to serve the common interests of both countries.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting also reviewed current regional developments, emphasizing the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to ease tensions, and push for the resumption of negotiations between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, thus contributing to achieving security, peace, and stability in the region.
The meeting was attended by Muneera Nofal Al Dosari, Chief of the Asian and Pacific Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
