Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the announcement by His Excellency President Donald Trump of the United States of a comprehensive ceasefire agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel, describing it as a positive development to halt war and support regional peace and stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Bahrain's firm position advocating de-escalation and the resolution of all disputes through dialogue and peaceful means.
The statement called for the swift resumption of US-Iran negotiations on the Iranian nuclear issue, emphasising that such efforts are vital for strengthening security and stability both regionally and globally. It expressed hope that all parties will adhere to the terms of this agreement.
