Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Zhai Jun, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue, during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the 20th session of Manama Dialogue 2024, which the Kingdom of Bahrain is hosting from 6 to 8 December. According to Bahrain News Agency, the two sides reviewed the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People's Republic of China, underscoring their shared commitment to enhancing cooperation across various sectors. Discussions also covered the latest developments in the region, focusing on efforts to resolve conflicts in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, and to promote comprehensive peace in the Middle East. The meeting was also attended by Muneera Nofal Al Doseri, Chief of Asia and Pacific Affairs.
