Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met today with a group of British MPs, on the sidelines of the 17th Manama Dialogue.
The meeting discussed the strong historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, and the development these relations are witnessing at all levels, in light of mutual concern to support and strengthen bilateral relations and joint coordination to achieve their common interests.
They also discussed means to enhance the role of parliamentary diplomacy in consolidating friendship and joint cooperation, coordinating positions towards regional and international issues, and supporting efforts to establish security, peace and stability in the Middle East.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and the MoFA’s Chief of European Affairs, Ahmed Ebrahim Al Qarainees.
