Foreign Minister Engages in Virtual Credential Exchange with Bhutanese Ambassador-Designate

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a virtual meeting to receive a copy of the credentials from Phub Dorji, the Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Bhutan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, who will be stationed in Kuwait.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zayani extended a warm welcome to Ambassador-Designate Dorji, conveying his best wishes for a successful diplomatic tenure. He emphasized Bahrain's dedication to enhancing the friendship and cooperation between the two nations and expressed a desire to expand bilateral cooperation to serve mutual interests.

Ambassador Dorji expressed his honor in representing Bhutan in Bahrain and committed to fortifying bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for collaboration in various sectors.

The meeting also included the presence of Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director-General of Bilateral Relations, and Ambassador Mohammed Rashid Al Suwaidi, Acting Chief of Asian and Pacific Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
