New york: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, at the United Nations headquarters in New York. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions centered on the relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Slovenia, focusing on enhancing ties across political, economic, and cultural domains. The meeting also covered current regional and international developments and matters of common interest.
In attendance were Jamal Fares Al Ruwaiei, Bahrain's Permanent Representative to the UN in New York; Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Ali Khaled Al Araifi, Head of Al Madar Centre.
