Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the third joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the GCC and Central Asian countries, hosted by the State of Kuwait.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on exploring areas of cooperation between the two countries and finding ways to enhance them to serve their common interests. The ministers also deliberated on the latest regional developments and their implications for security and stability, along with other issues of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by Salah Ali Al Malki, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Kuwait; and Mohamed Abdulrahman Al Haidan, Chief of the Legal Affairs Sector and Acting Chief of the GCC Affairs Sector.
