Doha: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the Preparatory Ministerial Meeting for the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, held today in Doha and chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Arab and Islamic countries, as well as the Secretary General of the Arab League and the Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. This gathering is pivotal in setting the agenda and framework for the upcoming summit, which aims to address pressing issues facing the Arab and Islamic world.
The delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain included Ambassador Mohammed bin Ali Al Ghatam, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the State of Qatar; Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al Turaifi, Head of the Arab and African Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Their participation underscores Bahrain's commitment to fostering collaborative solutions and strengthening diplomatic ties within the region.
