Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of the Republic of Ukraine and Special Envoy of the President of Ukraine for defense cooperation with the Gulf Cooperation Council states.
According to Bahrain News Agency, both sides reviewed the longstanding relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Ukraine, and explored means to develop these relations in various domains to serve the mutual interests of the two countries. The discussions also included an exchange of views on regional developments and issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Abdulkhaleq Saeed, Head of the Coordination and Follow-up Sector at the Ministry, and Shaikha Al Anoud bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Acting Head of the European Affairs Sector.
