The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, commended the speech delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, at the inauguration of the fourth session of the fifth legislative term of the Shura and Representatives Councils, in which he affirmed the solid national will towards more national achievements and gains for what he described as the homeland of love, freedom and prosperity.
Dr Al Zayani highlighted His Majesty the King remarks regarding a number of significant steps in the national march in which the Kingdom made remarkable successes, expressing his pride in Team Bahrain, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their success in handling COVID-19.
He added that His Majesty the King, spoke highly about the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom, which is proceeding steadily and with strong economic performance that leads to satisfaction and optimism, stressing the importance of the role of the private sector and its positive contribution by proposing more ideas and initiatives. For comprehensive economic development. His Majesty referred to the government’s effective programmes to achieve fiscal balance and self-sufficiency as a pre-requisite to increase and ensure sustainability of national resources.
He highlighted His Majesty the King’s praise of the government’s developing performance and its achievements, and the sincere efforts made by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to enhance the Kingdom’s position on the regional and international arena.
He noted what His Majesty the King stressed regarding the Kingdom of Bahrain’s unwavering commitment to its diplomatic approach based on the policy of good neighbourliness and mutual respect with brotherly and friendly countries, where His Majesty also commended the blessed GCC march, expressing keenness on achieving the noble GCC goals of rallying ranks and developing common interests.
Dr Al Zayani pointed out what His Majesty the King underlined regarding the outstanding efforts and sacrifice of Bahrain’s armed forces and security bodies in defending the nation, its achievements and sovereignty.
