New york: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Pablo Quirno, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentine Republic, on the sidelines of their participation in the Security Council meetings in New York. The meeting discussed the bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries and their peoples, and means to enhance them across various domains.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussion also included regional developments, specifically focusing on the Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, and Jordan. Additionally, the repercussions of Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz on international navigation and the global economy were addressed, along with other topics of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Jamal Fares Al Rowaiei, Bahrain's Permanent Representative to the UN; Saeed Abdulkhaliq Saeed, Head of the Coordination and Follow-up Affairs Sector; Hatem Abdulhameed Hatem, Chief of the Organizations Sector, and the Minister's accompanying delegation.
