Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, on the sidelines of the third joint ministerial meeting of the GCC-Central Asia Strategic Dialogue hosted by Kuwait. The discussion focused on evaluating the long-established relations between their respective countries, as well as exploring avenues to bolster cooperation and coordination in addressing current regional challenges.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the two ministers deliberated on various strategies to enhance cooperation at all levels. They emphasized the importance of maintaining open communication channels to strengthen coordination and consultation regarding ongoing regional issues. The dialogue underscored the commitment of both nations to work collaboratively towards ensuring regional security and stability.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Zayani and Al Marar exchanged perspectives on recent developments in the region and assessed their potential implications on regional security. The ministers expressed a mutual understanding of the need for unified efforts to address these emerging challenges effectively.
