New york: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting focused on reviewing the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and Pakistan and exploring ways to enhance bilateral cooperation to support shared aspirations and common interests.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the leaders also exchanged views on regional developments during their discussions. The meeting was attended by Ambassador Jamal Faris Al Ruwaie, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, and Ambassador Khalid Yousef Al Jalahma, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs.
