Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with Dr. Asaad Hassan Al Shaibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, in the presence of Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), on the sidelines of the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting discussed efforts to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two countries and exchanged views on a number of topics of mutual interest. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa underscored the strong Bahrain-Syria relations, noting the continuous progress witnessed across various sectors. He emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to further advance bilateral relations and support shared areas of cooperation for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
