Cairo: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with Dr. Ahmed Kouchouk, Egypt's Minister of Finance. The meeting was held as part of the minister's visit to Egypt and focused on enhancing financial, economic, and investment cooperation between the two countries. According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was attended by Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador to Egypt, and Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Mumtalakat, along with the accompanying delegation. The minister emphasised the historic ties between Bahrain and Egypt, built on solid foundations and shared visions across various domains. He credited this strong relationship to the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the commitment of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister; and Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Egypti an Prime Minister, to advancing bilateral cooperation and exploring broader horizons for partnership, underscoring the continuous collaboration and coordination between the two nations.
