Manama:Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, emphasized the vision and strategic outlook presented by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the inauguration of the fifth session of the sixth legislative term. The Royal Address, delivered to the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives, underscores His Majesty's ongoing dedication to enhancing the foundation of national development and building upon Bahrain's achievements across various sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Finance Minister stated that the royal directives are crucial for advancing government efforts and meeting the aspirations of citizens. He commended His Majesty the King's acknowledgment of the government's work, led by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, particularly in improving the quality of services in economic affairs and national development.
The Finance Minister also noted the King's recognition of the security and military forces for their role in maintaining Bahrain's security and achievements, especially in light of Iranian attacks. Furthermore, Shaikh Salman welcomed the King's declaration of June 1 as the "Day of Pledge and Loyalty" and designating 2027 as the "Year of Isa bin Salman."
