Manama:Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with Shaikh Aiman bin Ahmad bin Sultan Al Hosani, Chairman of the Board of Oman National Engineering and Investment Company (ONEIC), during the FinTech Forward 2026 event. This event was hosted in Bahrain with the participation of officials, experts, and specialists in the financial technology and services sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, the Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board.
Shaikh Salman emphasized the enduring relations and robust ties between Bahrain and Oman across various sectors. He underscored the mutual dedication to enhancing cooperation in economic and investment fields, aiming to create opportunities that benefit the private sectors in both countries through the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets.
The Finance Minister also highlighted Bahrain's investment-friendly environment and supportive legislative and regulatory framework, which are key factors in attracting investments and expanding partnerships with regional and international companies and institutions.
