Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with Jamshid Kuchkarov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting was held during the Al Ula Conference for Emerging Market Economies in Saudi Arabia. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Finance Minister emphasised the importance of further developing cooperation between Bahrain and Uzbekistan. He noted the continuous growth in bilateral relations, particularly in the financial and economic sectors, driven by mutual commitment to expanding collaboration for the benefit of both countries and their people. The meeting covered areas of cooperation and coordination between Bahrain and Uzbekistan, focusing on enhancing financial and economic ties. Discussions also addressed topics of mutual interest and the latest developments in the global economy. The meeting was attended by Khalid bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain.
