Finance Minister Engages in Bilateral Talks with U.S. Official

Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, engaged in discussions with Timothy Lenderking, a Senior Official at the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs at the U.S. Department of State. The meeting was also attended by Steven C. Bondy, the US Ambassador to Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting centered on bilateral cooperation, particularly in financial and economic domains. The talks aimed at strengthening Bahrain-U.S. collaboration, advancing strategic ties, and supporting shared economic interests.

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa highlighted the historical relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, noting the strong and evolving strategic partnership between the two nations. He underscored the mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral relations across all sectors, aligning with shared goals and aspirations.

The Finance Minister further emphasized the importance of building on past achievements and advancing the partnership to broader levels of cooperation. This endeavor aims to benefit both nations and their citizens, pushing the collaboration towards more advanced and comprehensive stages.
