Finance Minister Discusses Water Sector Initiatives with International Water Bank Officials

Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, engaged in discussions with Amr Moussa, the Honorary Chairman of the International Water Bank (IWB), and Rashad Shawa, the IWB Founder, Board Chairman, and Founders Committee Chairman. The meeting centered on the critical role of the IWB in promoting global solutions and initiatives for the water sector. According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions emphasized the importance of investment in the water sector as a key component of sustainable development. The minister highlighted the significant contributions of international institutions and organizations in achieving developmental goals in this sector. He called for ongoing support for innovative initiatives and global efforts aimed at enhancing water security and tackling related challenges.
