Riyadh: The Executive Office of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management participated in the second International Conference on Emergency Response and Fire Leadership, hosted in Saudi Arabia. The event brought together international experts and specialists in emergency management and firefighting, focusing on the enhancement of emergency response systems to meet global standards.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Major Hamad Sabah Swar, who serves as the Director of the Crisis and Disaster Management Directorate at the General Directorate of Civil Defence, presented the national emergency strategy. His presentation covered key aspects such as emergency management, national preparedness, early warning systems, and the integration of technology and governance.
Major Swar emphasized that their participation aligns with the Ministry of Interior's strategy to exchange expertise and engage in global dialogues on the future of emergency response. This engagement is particularly crucial in the context of rapid transformations driven by digital technology, underscoring the importance of adapting firefighting and rescue services to contemporary challenges.
