Manama: Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, commended the support Bahraini women receive across all sectors, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. According to Bahrain News Agency, he emphasised the commitment to advancing women's role in Bahrain's comprehensive development under the leadership of HM the King, highlighting HM's royal vision to fully support and equip Bahraini women to contribute effectively and efficiently across all sectors. He commended the efforts of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), in advancing Bahraini women to new heights of excellence and leadership. He noted that these efforts have transitioned Bahraini women from empowerment to leadership and full partnership in national development. The minister noted the contributions of women employees in the Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs, highlighting their proven capabilities in performing their duties with efficiency and dedication. He highlighted their role in Bahrain's comprehensive development process. He highlighted that many women in the ministry hold leadership positions and play pivotal roles, contributing to the strategic goals of the electricity and water sector and enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens and residents. The minister congratulated all Bahraini women, commending their determination and dedication, and underscoring the ministry's commitment to supporting and empowering women in all fields to achieve further progress and development for Bahrain.
