Cairo: Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, met with Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy of Egypt, on the sidelines of the 15th session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity and the 39th Meeting of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity. According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting discussed the exchange of expertise in electricity, renewable energy, and energy efficiency, and explored mechanisms to benefit from international systems and regulations in these sectors. Humaidan highlighted the strong historical ties between Bahrain and Egypt and their shared commitment to enhancing cooperation in electricity and renewable energy. On his part, Dr. Esmat expressed Egypt's keenness to strengthen collaboration with Bahrain in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
