Egyptian President and Spanish Prime Minister Discuss Regional Stability

Cairo: His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, received a telephone call from His Excellency Pedro Sanchez, Prime Minister of Spain. The conversation focused on regional developments and the need for coordinated efforts to address ongoing conflicts.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the State Information Service of Egypt reported that President El Sisi reiterated Egypt's firm stance against attacks on Arab states and emphasized the importance of respecting their sovereignty and stability. Mohamed El Shennawy, the presidential spokesperson, highlighted discussions between the two leaders about Egypt's initiatives aimed at halting the war in the Middle East.

President El Sisi underscored the necessity of regional and international collaboration to prevent instability and mitigate disruptions to energy markets and global supply chains. The spokesperson further noted that both leaders agreed on enhancing joint coordination to de-escalate tensions and manage its economic consequences effectively.
