Egypt: Extensive Cabinet Reshuffle Including Economic and Service Portfolios

Egypt: Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, attended the swearing-in of the new cabinet in the presence of Moustafa Madbouli, Prime Minister at the Presidential Palace in Heliopolis.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the new cabinet reshuffle included a number of key portfolios; economic affairs, health, transport, local development, foreign affairs, higher education, housing, communication, media, and justice.

The reshuffle also included the appointment of a number of deputy ministers to the portfolios of foreign affairs, housing, and utilities, in addition to the continuation of a number of ministers in their positions without change.
