Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, chaired the 291st meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Development Projects and Infrastructure. The committee discussed several key initiatives aimed at enhancing the country's infrastructure and housing services.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning's comprehensive digital transformation plan. This initiative is designed to improve service quality and streamline procedures for citizens. Additionally, the committee addressed the latest developments in the "Tumooh" housing finance programme, which offers financing solutions to improve access to adequate housing.
The committee also followed up on the progress of the Tubli Bay environmental improvement project. This project aims to address environmental concerns and enhance the ecological condition of the area.
The session concluded with a review of periodic reports, including the progress of the marine sand survey project "REMAAL" and the annual report of the Ministerial Committee for Development Projects and Infrastructure for 2025.
