Cairo: The Arab Republic of Egypt has expressed its strongest condemnation of terrorist and subversive plots targeting the security and stability of the Gulf states, most recently in the State of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, where the security authorities in both countries successfully foiled the attempts and dismantled the networks behind them.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs affirmed Egypt's full solidarity with all Gulf states and its steadfast support in confronting any attempts to undermine their sovereignty, threaten their security, or terrorise citizens and residents on their territories.
The statement underscored Egypt's full backing for all security and legal measures taken by the competent authorities in the State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and other Gulf states to safeguard the security of their peoples and protect their national assets, reiterating its categorical rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism, as well as attempts aimed at destabilising the region.
