Cairo: The Arab Republic of Egypt has issued a strong condemnation of the recent Iranian drone attack targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain. In a statement, Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates emphasized that the attack represents a violation of Bahrain's sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Egyptian ministry described the incident as an unacceptable escalation that undermines ongoing efforts to reduce tensions in the region. The statement highlighted that the attack occurred at a critical time when regional initiatives are being made to consolidate de-escalation and stability.
The ministry reiterated Egypt's unwavering solidarity with Bahrain and all Gulf states, expressing full support for any measures taken to safeguard their security and stability.
