Egypt and Croatia Explore New Avenues for Enhanced Bilateral Cooperation

Cairo: Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, held a telephone call with Gordan Grlic-Radman, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia. They discussed the importance of building on the momentum of Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic's recent visit to Egypt, which saw the signing of agreements and MoUs to enhance cooperation in various economic, trade, and cultural domains.

According to Bahrain News Agency, both ministers welcomed the outcome of the Egyptian-Croatian Business Forum. The forum, inaugurated by the prime ministers of both countries, featured participation from companies and financial institutions from both sides.

The ministers emphasized the importance of following up on the implementation of the visit's outcomes. They explored ways to advance cooperation, focusing particularly on sectors such as energy, construction, building, and transport, aiming to maximize available opportunities and deepen the partnership between both countries.

Additionally, the ministers exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East and Europe. They discussed efforts to enhance security and stability in the region and addressed the situation in Gaza.
