Manama: The Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) has announced that the submission deadline for the eGovernment Excellence Award 2025 is open until July 13. This initiative aims to provide opportunities for government entities, private sector entities, civil society organizations, and individuals with digital initiatives to participate via the official website, www.egovaward.bh.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the extension of the deadline comes in response to participants' requests, ensuring they have ample time to fulfill the submission requirements. The award serves as a national platform that fosters innovation and digital transformation, spotlighting projects that enhance the quality of government services to meet the expectations of citizens and residents.
The award categories for public and private sectors include Best Website, Best Practice in eParticipation, Best Integrated eServices, Best Work Environment for Digital Innovation, Best Utilisation of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Best Project for Digital Transformation, and Best Applications for Smart Devices (exclusive to private sector participation). For individuals, the award includes the Best Digital Initiative Award. These categories recognize pioneering ICT initiatives and highlight digital innovations on both local and global stages.
The iGA encourages interested organizations and individuals to submit their digital initiatives by the deadline of Sunday, July 13, 2025, via www.egovaward.bh. Participants are also advised to follow @iGABahrain for updates on the award.
