Abu Dhabi: Nawal Ibrahim Al Khater, Undersecretary for Policies, Strategies, and Performance at the Ministry of Education, led Bahrain's delegation to the 19th Ministerial Conference of the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organisation (ALECSO) hosted by the UAE in Abu Dhabi. In her address, Al Khater underscored Bahrain's commitment to supporting education and fostering investment in this strategic sector as a cornerstone for building a knowledge-based society. She underscored Bahrain's support for initiatives aimed at enhancing Arab cooperation and promoting the exchange of expertise and research to advance the educational field. According to Bahrain News Agency, during the preparatory meeting on higher education and scientific research, Dr. Farzana Abdullah Al Maraghi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council (HEC), presented Bahrain's paper. The presentation showcased HEC's efforts in fostering a flexible and adaptable higher education system aligned with rapid advance ments. It also highlighted key legislative frameworks, institutional contributions, and ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the sector's development.
