Education Ministry and Royal Life Saving Bahrain Sign MoU on Safe Swimming Training.

Manama: The Ministry of Education and the Royal Life Saving Bahrain, a leading water safety and drowning prevention organization in Bahrain, have formalized a partnership to enhance water safety awareness among students and reduce drowning-related injuries and fatalities. This collaboration was cemented through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU). According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoU was signed by Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, and Her Highness Shaikha Nayla bint Hamad bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the founder and president of the Royal Life Saving Bahrain. The minister praised the efforts of the organization, led by HH Shaikha Nayla bint Hamad, and emphasized the positive impact this initiative will have on a large number of school students. He expressed the ministry's gratitude for the organization's life-saving mission, which aims to protect children from drowning incidents, and noted that this initiative will soon be implemented in schools. Her Highness Shaikha Nayla bint Hamad highlighted the importance of the MoU and applauded the ministry's initiative to collaborate with the organization to achieve shared goals. She stressed that students are particularly at risk of drowning, making it crucial to focus on raising awareness and improving swimming skills to ensure their safety.
