Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Higher Education Council, commended the outcomes of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) meeting, chaired by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister praised both government and private sector programmes that support youth through training and employment opportunities. These initiatives reflect the strength of Bahrain's education system and its competitiveness in the labour market.
The minister emphasized that such programmes enable students to explore career interests, align their academic choices with market needs, and gain practical experience. This approach is in line with international best practices and aligns with HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad's strategy to empower and prepare youth for the labour market.
Additionally, the minister noted that the Higher Education Council has completed a comprehensive study on the performance and outcomes of higher education institutions. The study revealed that these institutions have achieved advanced ratings and international quality accreditation.
