Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Jumaa, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, welcomed Elizabeth Shepherd, Managing Director of Times Higher Education (THE), along with other members of the organization. The meeting underscored the significance of the collaborative efforts between the Higher Education Council and THE.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister highlighted the critical role of this partnership in advancing the higher education sector in the Kingdom. By adopting best practices and international standards in governance, the collaboration aims to enhance the quality and effectiveness of higher education.
The discussions during the meeting focused on the work plan set to be carried out until July of this year. This plan is expected to establish a comprehensive development strategy for the higher education sector, engaging various sectors and institutions to achieve the outlined objectives.
