Manama: Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, the Minister of Education, has approved a series of regulatory decisions aimed at enhancing the private education sector. These decisions encompass the licensing of new private schools, educational centers, early education institutions, and expansions of educational services in several private institutions. Additionally, there is a transfer of ownership for some licenses.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the key school-related decisions include the licensing of the establishment of Al Mawahib British Private School and the addition of a secondary stage at Nadeen Private School. In the realm of educational centers, the establishment of Kunooz Al Arabia Private Educational Centre has been approved.
For early education institutions such as nurseries and kindergartens, licenses have been granted for the establishment of Start Smart Nursery and Kindergarten, Rising Stars Nursery and Kindergarten, Sama Nursery, Children Without Borders Nursery, Flamingo Kindergarten, and The Bahraini British Preschool. A notable decision also involves transferring the ownership of Vanguard Preschool's license.
The Education Minister emphasized that the improved licensing process has significantly expedited the issuance of educational licenses to numerous national institutions. This initiative supports the expansion of quality educational services for all age groups throughout Bahrain's regions, addressing the growing demand for education. The ministry remains committed to licensing institutions that comply with the regulatory requirements in accordance with the approved rules and regulations.
